Lent and Advent Retreats

At the beginning of our penitential seasons, we like to prepare our hearts for God's movement in our lives. We join with Grace Episcopal Church in Stanardsville and invite local churches to participate. Typically we gather at Grave's Mill Chapel for a morning of prayer, worship, reflection, conversation, and a potluck lunch. We have found these gatherings to be a meaningful way to develop relationships with God and others and enter into the seasons with thoughtful attentiveness.
